Plant Dyed Kantha Embroidery Patchwork Bag
This crossbody pochette bag is a part of our collection inspired by the historical use of natural dyes and traditional arts.
This bag's fabric is dyed using madder roots (Rúbia Cordifolia) which is a classic source to get red color naturally. Various mordants were used to get different tones and shades of red. Embroidered with Kantha/Gindi embroidery - a technique historically used to up-cycle old clothes - it adds charm and character to any textile.
- Designed with a metal zipper opening
- Fully lined with light blue cotton fabric and features a sewing label on the inside wall
- Body dimensions measure W 24 cm x L 17 cm with a gusset of 3.5 cm
- The adjustable knot tie straps, measuring L 100 cm x W 1.3 cm x 2, offer flexibility and comfort
Please note that while the bag has been thoroughly washed after embroidery, we advise washing only if absolutely necessary. Use cold water and a neutral detergent, and dry flat after a general wash.
Given that this product is entirely naturally dyed and hand-embroidered, we strongly recommend exercising extra caution in its care.

Our products are completely handmade by living human beings, therefore every single piece is unique and have artisanal qualities. While executing embroideries, it is only natural that the artisans interpret the sketched design and the mock-up embroideries in their unique way and leave a stamp of their own personalities on the product. We believe that these slight differences in our products is a desirable trait, but if you are not happy with your purchase, we will accept returns. We request you to send us an email at info@wenlinstudiolondon.co.uk explaining the reason for your return within 7 days after you receive your package. Please remember to also provide us with your name, your address and your order number. After your request has been approved, we will send you an email authorizing you to send us back the products. The email will also include the appropriate instructions and destination address. The products must be received unused and in their original packaging.
Please note that you will be responsible for the shipping cost as well as the duties and taxes on your return.
