Christmas Festivities: Wenlin Studio at Renegade London

Renegade London was a 2-day event, held at the Old Truman’s Brewery, Shoreditch. Known as the entertainment and cultural center since the 16th century, Shoreditch can be truly called as the heart of London. The quirky spaces and the small alleys are a testament to the fascinating history that this area represents today. Truman Brewery started in the 16th century and was the biggest brewery in the world at one time, only to close its doors in 1989.

Renegade London was a curated gathering of the makers and designers, showcasing an eclectic mix, excellent for hunting remarkable gifts for the holiday season. Wenlin Studio was at booth 3 with many of our pouch bags sold out. The Gerbera Daisies, Moonlit Rose and Wild Leaves designs were the most popular of the show. The amazing crowd was conscious about the environment and very eager to know the story behind the embroideries. It was a fun-filled event where we made many new friends, equally enthusiastic about hand embroidery.

Many thanks to all our friends, artisans, and customers for making Wenlin Studio a successful project in its first year. Renegade London was our last show in 2019. With many new things yet to come, we cant wait to be back with exciting new lines in the new year. We wish you all Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year.
